It is Ivy Stranahan's story, the first teacher in Broward County, and her life with her husband Frank, the first trader among the Seminole Indians along the New River.
Fort Lauderdale built up around that post, but this is the story of a dream, Ivy's dream, to touch the lives of others and the power of faith in accomplishing that dream.
