WHAT: Jane will be the guest speaker for the In Their Footsteps program. Join her as she talks about her Spring 2011 release, The Daughter's Walk, the story of Clara Estby walking with her mother from Spokane to New York City in 1896.

WHAT: Auntie's is a great place to celebrate The Daughter's Walk as Clara and her mother began their famous journey in Spokane in 1896. Linda Hunt, author of Bold Spirit: Helga Estby's Forgotten Walk Across Victorian America, will introduce Jane at this event. Author Carole Dagg, a descendant who has written a young adult novel about the walk, will also be present so it'll be a grand event. Join us at this independent book store.
